Trails End Cowboy Church Harrison County Playday Rules
1. Unsportsmanlike conduct or abuse of animals, within or outside of the arena, as determined by the arena judge, will not be permitted
2. Possession of a Negative Coggins certificate is required for all horses present
3. Riders’ age for class is determined by age on Jan 1 • Lead Line: non-competitive, any age • Buckaroo: 8 and under • Junior: 9-12 • Intermediate: 13-17 • Senior: 18-39 • Super Senior: 40 plus
4. Contact with the horse on the course by anyone other than the rider will result in a No Time except in the Lead Line class
5. Failure to execute the defined event pattern will result in a No Time
6. Rider must remain mounted at all times during the run
7. Questions about the official outcome of a run should be brought to the judge immediately following the run in question
8. The judge’s decisions are final on all matters
9. Points per event: • 1st - 10 • 2nd - 9 • 3rd - 8 • 4th - 7 • 5th - 6 • 6th - 5 • 7th - 4 • 8th - 3 • 9th - 2 • 10th - 1 • No points in Lead Line
10. A rider may enter more than once, only one ride will count for points
11. A rider will be allowed a rerun if the timer fails to record the run or in other cases as determined by the judge (tack failure is not a reason for a rerun)
12. Must enter 4 event dates to be eligible for series buckles and prizes
13. Ribbons 1st-6th for all events Lead Line through Intermediate classes or for others upon request
14. Giveaways for everyone at Series Finale following final Playday
